these boots are made for walking
October 11, 2010
fall is here and so is the feeling of wanting a new pair of boots. with so many styles out there, how is a girl supposed to decide on just ONE pair? to cut out the feeling of extreme guilt by spending close to $100 on a pair of boots that will surely get ruined by the harsh rochester winter weather, i turned to my good friend target. after browsing through aisles of boots in every color, style, material and height – i decided on this pair of knee-high buckle boots by mossimo supply co. they are comfy, not too clunky, perfect for pairing with skinny jeans, leggings or colored tights for a casual but fashion-forward look. and at $34, i can totally justify buying another pair of boots to satisfy my never-ending need for more shoes.
peace, love & tie dye
April 12, 2010
if you thought that tie dye was still stuck in the 70′s, you’re wrong. i’m just sayin’…this isn’t your average hippy wear.
this look has been all over the runway, the red carpet and in your favorite stores at the mall lately.
just the other day at Target, I saw an entire shelf of cute, tie dye t-shirts and racks of flowing, tie dye dresses and cover ups.
you can go all out by donning a dress or shirt in a fun and outrageous tie dye pattern, or use this trippy trend as an accessory to any ensemble, as seen below.
so get with the times and go pick up some tie dye gear to add a little splash of color to your spring and summer wardrobe.
stay groovy kids.
