The Wonderous World of Wicked

I saw “Wicked” yesterday afternoon at the Civic Center and I’m Just Sayin’…it blew me away. I’m a sucker for musicals though, I can’t help but get all emotional during 86% of the songs. Not to mention that I find myself contemplating going to live in Oz. Which I suppose would only be down the road to Chittenango if we’re going to get serious about it. Something tells me that it wouldn’t be as glitzy and glamorous as it seems on stage though. Thanks for the false expectations amazing costume and set designers.

Limbs & Things

 

I’m just sayin’…for some reason I’ve been obsessed with this “Little Birch Jewelry Stand” for the past two years. I just think it is adorable. I have this vision of having  two or three of them lined up on my white, wicker dresser, displaying my jewelry on its little branches. I would actually need a 200-year-old oak tree to properly display all of my jewelry, but I suppose just my special pieces would get the honor of being displayed on a silver tree. Unfortunately, they have been sold out forever, not cool Urban Outfitters, not cool at all.

Hopefully, when Urban Outfitters makes itself a new little home here in Syracuse, in Armory Square, they will arrive fully stocked with silver birch trees.

As for now, I’ll just take on a new mission: finding tree jewelry stand replicas (even though I would prefer the UO version that I fell for in the first place)
